Each piece is designed by Daniel Simonini and crafted in collaboration with highly skilled Brazilian artisans, deeply immersed in the mastery of fine design and good living. Our work draws from Brazilian and Italian traditions to shape furniture that suits your body, your space, and the way you choose to live.
THE STUDIO
Our design studio works between São Paulo and Milan, dedicated to crafting furniture defined by precision, warmth, and intelligent construction. The studio bridges cultures, disciplines, and generations, distilling the essence of contemporary living into design icons.
Each piece is born from a process of reduction. Materials are honored, not merely selected. Solid woods meet natural finishes in compositions that are rhythmic and tactile. Every curve, joint, and detail is intentional, inviting not attention, but presence.
With a commitment to sustainability and refined functionality, we partner with skilled artisans and integrate high precision machinery to produce pieces built for the way you live.
THE DESIGN AESTHETIC
Every project begins with a question: what can be removed so that only the essential remains? The answer is never decoration. It is structure, material, and proportion in dialogue. A pursuit for interesting shapes and an alternative way to build pieces. Our studio aesthetic is architectural in its discipline and sensorial in its result. Lines are resolved, not drawn for effect. Surfaces are honest. Volumes carry weight and warmth in equal measure. Our design language draws from Brazilian making traditions and Italian formal rigor, refined through years of hands on practice. Wood is treated as volume, not veneer. Finishes stay tactile and true. Proportions follow the body as much as the eye. This is contemporary clarity with expressive depth. Design that resists trend and rewards the slow look.
Every line is a decision. Every piece, an invitation to linger.
THE DESIGNER
Daniel Simonini is a Brazilian born, Milan trained designer whose work sits at the intersection of architecture, sculpture, and industrial design. He is the founder and creative director of SIMONINI.Raised between cultures and trained between disciplines, Daniel blends the intuitive sensibility of a maker with the strategic rigor of a designer. He studied at IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) in Milan and earned a Master's degree in Industrial and Interior Design from SPD (Scuola Politecnica di Design). Early in his career, he collaborated with some of Italy's most renowned design masters, including Ferruccio Laviani, Rodolfo Dordoni, Piero Lissoni, Roberto Palomba, and Raffaella Mangiarotti. A formative period that deeply shaped his design approach. His trajectory spans over a decade of international collaborations, award winning creations, and a deep commitment to process, where the raw material, the human hand, and the line between function and form all share equal importance. With a background in industrial design, interior design and a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Daniel brings discipline, restraint, and purpose into everything he builds. His pieces are not just designed. They are composed: of a deep thinking and experimentation in proportions & comfort.Under his direction, SIMONINI has established a unique presence in the global design landscape, uniting Brazilian and Italian heritage with sustainable craftsmanship. His work has been recognized by numerous international awards and publications.Daniel continues to shape spaces, objects, and systems that last. Not by resisting time, but by resonating with it.
