Returns and Refund Policy

Each SIMONINI piece is made exclusively for you, after your confirmation. Our policy reflects that.

1. Made-to-Order Policy

SIMONINI does not accept returns or cancellations once production has begun.

2. Cancellation or Modification Before Production

Specifications, address and contact details can be adjusted before production begins. Once your order is fully confirmed and production starts, the piece is committed to you and cannot be cancelled. To request a change before production, write to support@danielsimonini.com as early as possible.

3. Damage in Transit

All shipments are insured door-to-door. To activate an insurance or transport claim:

  • Always receive the shipment. Never refuse delivery for external crate damage. Refusal voids the insurance claim.
  • Photograph the outer crate and the Product before unpacking further.
  • Document any damage clearly with multiple photos and write to support@danielsimonini.com within seven (7) days of delivery, with the order number.
  • Only claims with full photographic documentation within the seven-day window are eligible for review.

4. Manufacturing Defects

Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship are addressed under our Limited Warranty, set out in our Terms of Service, Section 5. Warranty period is one (1) year from delivery for indoor pieces and six (6) months for outdoor pieces. To file a warranty claim, see the procedure in the Terms of Service.

5. Refund Processing

Where SIMONINI elects to issue a refund, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within thirty (30) days of completion of any required inspection or return of the Product. Refunds are limited to the amount paid by the Customer for the affected Product.

6. Return Process and Costs

Where a return is accepted or a refund is processed under this policy, the following conditions apply:

  • Restocking fee. SIMONINI reserves the right to apply a 30% restocking fee on the purchase price of returned Products.
  • Non-reimbursable costs. The initial freight, logistics fees, customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees and shipping costs paid on the original order are not reimbursable.
  • Return shipping. The Customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping, local clearance fees, local import taxes and export fees.
  • Shipping agent. Returns must be processed through SIMONINI's designated shipping agent. Returns sent through unauthorised carriers will not be accepted.
  • Incoterm. Return shipments must be sent under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) Incoterms.

7. Custom and Customer's Own Material Orders

For Products configured with Customer's Own Material (COM/COL), custom dimensions or other bespoke variations, any deposit paid is non-refundable once production has begun. The Customer remains responsible for the suitability, quality and timely delivery of any Customer-supplied material. See our Terms of Service, Section 1.5.

8. Pricing Errors and Rescission

SIMONINI reserves the right to correct typographical errors, incorrect prices, inaccurate descriptions or miscalculated freight, and to rescind or cancel any order placed in reliance on an obvious error, without liability, with full refund of any amount paid by the Customer for the affected order. 9. Chargebacks and Non-Payment

If the Customer initiates a chargeback, reverses a credit card transaction or otherwise fails to pay any amount due, the Customer remains liable for the full Total Purchase Price, applicable taxes, storage and handling charges, and all reasonable collection costs and attorneys' fees incurred by SIMONINI. SIMONINI may also suspend or cancel pending orders and refuse future orders. See our Terms of Service, Section 2.9.

10. Material, Display and Batch Variation

Natural variations inherent to solid wood, leather, fibers, stone and other natural materials, as well as differences between samples, swatches, renderings, photographs or displays and the final delivered Product, and subtle differences between pieces produced at different moments or in different material batches, are not grounds for a return, refund or rejection.
